1. The following rating scale are often use in organizational research :

- Dichotomous scale

- Category scale

- Likert scale

- Numerical scales

- Semantic differential scale

- Itemized rating scale

- Fixed or constant sum rating scale

- Staple scale

- Graphic rating scale

- Consensus scale

We will briefly describle each of the preceding attitudinal scale.

Rangking scale are used to tap preferences between two or more objects or item (ordinal in nature). However, such ranking may not give devinitive clues to some of the answers ought.

2. Because we need to be reasonably sure that the instruments we use in our research do indeed measure the variables they are supposed to, and that they measeure them accurately. First an item analysis of the responses to the questions tapping the variable is done and then the reliability and validity of the measures are established as described below.

4. according to our group agreed because the instrument has been developed recurrent already known and will produce a good answer.
